6L80 Kits and Components
Our customers have now begun to repair the next generation of GM rear wheel drive HD Transmissions. KOM now stocks kits and clutch plates for the GM 6L80E & Overhaul Kits for the GM 6L90E. The Overhaul Kits are from TransTec® and the friction plates are from Borg Warner®, the OE supplier. We also stock the Centre-support snap ring pliers from Adapt a Case® (view more info on these by clicking here), and the ATSG Technical Manual.
Let your salesmen know about your first encounters with these Lepelitar gear-train inspired units (a design ZF has been using for sometime) and the damaged components you find within. Doing so will help us to determine what parts we need to carry in the future.
